An electric propulsion system Electravia is composed of the following components :
1/ an electric engin with its dedicated controller
2/ a propeller flange for direct drive or a reducer (reducer ratio to be defined)
3/ an instrumentation system : with sensors and displays
4/ a specific custom-made propeller
5/ a LiPo batteries pack
6/ the electronics control for the batteries
7/ a LiPo charger
8/ in necessary : engine mount / special fairings

Here are the 2012 PRICES (in Euros without taxes) of the ELECTRAVIA electric propulsion systems and batteries packs :
1/ Electric engines + controller E-MOTOR
Kit is including : electric engine, dedicated controller, harness between engine and controller, power command (potientiometer), breaker and fuse.
Engine mount and brakets are not included in the kit; because they must be adapted for each airframe. Electravia's team can manufacture such parts (please contact us for quotation).

2/ Flanges or reducers
The choice depends if the engine can be used on direct drive or if it's need a reduction. Reducers can be chain systems or planetary, sometines with belt. Flanges and reducers are custom-made mechanical parts that Electravia can manufacture, or which can be realized by the customer.

3/ Custom-made propellers E-PROPS for electric engines
Custom-made propellers in beech multiply with fiberglass or in carbon [2-, 3- or 4-blades]

5/ High performances Lithium-Polymer batteries
Batteries realized with KOKAM cells
Those batteries are the best on the market today for aeronautical uses. KOKAM is the world leader of this type of batteries.
Specific energy : in softpack = 175 Wh/kg, with protection box about 165 Wh/kg
Number of cycles : 1.200
Security : very high (Lithium in Polymer, PCM to manage each cell)
Charge : between 0,5 et 1C with dedicated charger

This item includes the complete management system of Liithium-Polymer KOKAM cells : PCM (Protection Circuit Module) et BMS (Battery Management System), designed and manufactured by ELECTRAVIA.
Thi electronics management is essential to keep the cells in good condition.
Two models : 1 for 20 LiPo packs, 1 for 24 LiPo packs
